DeMedici Medical Face Masks
The DeMedici Medical Face Masks are three layer medical mouth and nose protection masks, tested according to European standard EN 14683:2019 with a filter efficiency of more than 99.5 %. Due to the values achieved, the masks correspond to Type II and Type IIR according to the norm and are therefore suitable for use by medical personnel and in dentist surgeries.
The DeMedici Medical Face Masks are made of different non-woven fabrics (spunbonded fabric and melt-blown fabric). Semi or fully automatic production machines are used for the production of the masks. Before the fabrics are welded together, we check that they are in perfect condition. The masks are produced in two different sizes, a standard size (175 x 95 mm) and a mini size (145 x 95 mm). The smaller mask was especially created for people with a narrow face. In addition to the smaller size, shorter ear-loops and nose clips are incorporated to ensure that the mask fits the narrow face shape.
Functions of the different layers
Inner layer
Spunbonded fabric, absorbs moisture produced during breathing
Middle layer
Special, extremely finely structured filter fleece, produced with the melt-blown process, prevents entering of microparticles and germs
Outer layer
Spunbonded fabric, has water-repellent properties, prevents entering of droplets from the environment
